As an alternative to CableCalc BS7671 for Mac and Windows, Castline Systems offer a standalone iPad app. CableCalc BS7671 for iPad is the ideal tool to carry out single and three phase cable calculations for radial, ring and sub main circuits quickly on-site.
CableCalc BS7671 will calculate and check voltage drop, disconnection time, fault current, earth fault data, overload and short circuit data while applying correction factors such as temperature and grouping if required. When your calculation is complete, CableCalc BS7671 will produce a detailed PDF report ready for printing and emailing to your clients. Calculations can also be saved so they may be edited at a later date.
In addition to the supporting mobile apps for desktop versions of FormFill, Castline Systems offer a standalone version of FormFill for iPad. FormFill Pro gives you the ability to produce BS7671 electrical certificates directly from your iPad. FormFill Pro includes all current BS7671 certificates as standard; Minor Electrical Installation Works, Electrical Installation Certificate, Electrical Installation Condition Report and Domestic Fire Alarm Installation Certificate and has an option to add BS5266 Emergency Lighting and BS5839 Commercial Fire Alarm certificates too.
Certificates may be customised by adding your company logo and setting your choice of background and text colours. You can also add photos from your camera roll to certificates on additional pages before emailing them direct to your client or printing them using an Airport compatible printer.
